FUEL PRICES
Ok all well the situation has now become untenable without a rise in prices, we all know fuel for the car has gone up - well aircraft fuel has as well. To be precise in April 2007 we were paying 0.72 per litre and burning 120 litres an hour, well we still burn 120 litres an hour except that it now costs 1.52 per litre, so we cannot support this without some form of price rise or fuel surcharge, watch this space.
I thought I would pop in this recieved from another DZ ' We have recently put up our prices across the board to take into account the fuel issues and an altitude ticket is now £25 or £23 for members. However, a quick and dirty calculation puts the actual cost at around £30. How long can this situation continue? '
OK decision Made - Experienced Jumpers to altitude £25 - B license and above a £2.00 discount to £23.00 also there will be fuel surcharges applied to tandems etc |

26th July + 30th August

W/E 8th June
Wasn't that an interesting end to the week!, finally get some glorious weather and the aircraft splits a seal in the port engine - still after getting a new Aircraft in (Via Katmandu for some reason - Sorry Rowan) we got to jumping and would you believe it the cause was a £0.25p gasket. Many congratulations to Tamsyn and Craig on their engagement, and yes he did go down on one knee when she landed, already crying because she had read the banner - still lets see what next week brings, proposals seem to be getting to be a habit at LPS |
| |
W/E 1ST June
Well there was Martin stood in the middle of the DZ saying 'it will clear' - no one believed him - that is until it did! and after being under the weather all day litterally we jumped everything that was there. |
| |
W/E 25th May
The caravan's arrival onsite has been delayed until 1500 in the afternoon - please plan accordingly - polotics polotics polotics |

|
W/E 11th May
The weather has changed and we have been jumping like beans - congrats to Damian on category 8 and all of the AFF students who have taken their first steps - and don't forget its a Cessna Caravan 15 seater at LPS on the 25th |
W/E 13th April
Wasnt that an interseting one, glorious sunshine turning to torrential rain and hail the size of marbles, sort of dented and dampened the enthusiasm a little - still lets see what next week holds. |
Weather!!!!!!!!
Well who would have thought we would have snow in April?, it seems that with rain, hail and snow all we are short of is a plague of frogs - still watch this space. |
